After the (Socialization) Ship Has Sailed: Changing Behavior in Adult Dogs - Emily Gaydos, CDPT-KA
Did your dog miss the puppy socialization boat? Maybe you have an adult rescue dog, or a puppy from your breeding program was returned after months or years. Or maybe extenuating circumstance—hello, pandemic!—kept you from following your normal socialization routines with a new pup. Regardless, the (Socialization) Ship Has Sailed, and now you have an older puppy or adult dog with behavior challenges you’d like to address. In this presentation, Emily provides a useful blueprint and some golden tips for working with adult dogs to change their existing feelings and improve their existing behaviors around the house and in the world.
