Judging - March 8 through March 19

This year’s judges, both BMD owners per usual, include Ryan Schain, a wildlife photographer who also has very popular TikTok (940,300 followers) and Instagram Accounts where his Berner, Ivy, has gone rather viral for watching out the window for mom to come home with Ryan’s little girl each day. Also, Eileen Blass, a BMDCA member with a storied career as a lifestyle and news photographer for USA Today and the Lansing State Journal; Eileen continues to tell prolific stories with her camera today.

People’s Choice Voting—March 20 through April 3

Prizes: Rosettes will be awarded to all placements in each category. Each photo receiving a category placement will be prominently displayed in the Photo Contest Winners Gallery at the All Star Event Center. The winners of Best Photo in Show and each People’s Choice category will receive a special rosette and consideration for placement in the BMDCA 2026 calendar. (Photo rights to BMDCA must be granted. See contest rules for more details.)
