The Sires & Desires Showcase is a special feature during the 50th Anniversary Kickoff Celebration

Attention Breeders and Owners: Showcase Your Stud Dog! While we celebrate 50 years of BMDCA specialties we look to the future with the current generation of stud dogs. This is your chance to shine!
Register your bachelor (stud dog) through Online Registration* and let them strut their stuff! Entry deadline: March 16th
*Welcome Party registration required for entry for all owners/helpers
Registration Options:
First Entry of In-Person Stud - $20
- In-person Stud entry
- Showcase catalog
- Golf towel with logo
- Marker for grooming spot
- Printed information for display at the grooming site
Additional Entries of In-Person Studs (after the first entry): $15 includes:
- Additional In-person Stud entry
- Golf towel with logo
- Marker for grooming spot
- Printed information for display at the grooming site
Not Present Studs / Frozen: $20 includes:
- Marker (poster template data must be submitted—printing handled by us)
- Showcase catalog
- Catalog postage; markers will not be mailed.
Additional Entries for Not Present Studs / Frozen (after the first entry): $15 includes:
- Marker (poster template data must be submitted—printing handled by us)
- Inclusion in the showcase catalog
Eligibility Criteria:
- Current on Vaccinations: Proof of Rabies vaccination or titer is required.
- Age Requirement: Dogs must be at least 18 months old by the event date.
- Membership: Owners must be BMDCA members or part of a regional/international BMD club.
- Berner-Garde Registration: Dogs must be entered in the Berner-Garde database with a minimum 3-generation pedigree.
- Event Participation: In-person studs must also enter another 2025 BMDCA National Specialty event, class, or parade.
How to Register? Via Online Registration (opens Tues January 7th)
- $15 Welcome Reception & Stud Dog Showcase Access (required): Welcome Reception wristband includes food and access to the event. If you wish to participate in the beverage tasting, you will need to purchase a separate wristband.
- $20 Sires & Desires Beverage Tasting (optional): Includes the beverage tasting experience and a special glass.
- To enter one or more In-Person Stud Dogs, you must have purchased a Welcome Reception ticket. The first Stud Dog entry is $20, and each additional entry costs $15. Register through Online Registration.
- $25/$35 Exclusive Merchandise (optional): A limited edition, purple long sleeve logo tee, is ONLY available for Stud Dog entrants and can be personalized with either your stud's name or your kennel name. Purchase through Online Registration at the time of entry.
